Graphic Design Specialist

C&D TECHNOLOGIES, INC. is a publicly held, global, high-tech manufacturer of power conversion and storage systems. We currently have an opening for a Graphic Design Specialist in our corporate office in Blue Bell, PA

The Graphic Design Specialist coordinates and assists with the marketing activities, which will include communication, design work and distribution of company, product, and market information, advertising, print and trade shows. Keep ALL product brochures and labels updated.

Responsibilities:

• Design and update product spec sheets, manuals and technical documents
• Update product labels, including design work
• Manipulate photos for graphic use
• Assist the Manager with product trade shows, including but not limited to:  planning the materials, reserving space, coordinating the set-up and clearing of company exhibits, ensuring that necessary equipment for display purposes is on hand and in working order; may set up and man the product booth at a show.
• Track marketing expenditures related to media, trade shows, advertising, print, and other projects as assigned.
• Develop, organize and proof all printed/electronic media and communications to ensure corporate signage and parallelism are consistent
• Plan and administer co-op advertising and the division service awards program
• Plan, coordinate and supervise the outsourcing of marketing activities such as print, advertising, technical writing and Internet requirements.  Organize and administer requests to C&D’s media fulfillment provider.
• Perform other duties, as may be requested by supervisor.
• Comply with C&D's Code of Business Conduct.

Requirements:

• Graphic experience, Efficient in Adobe Illustrator, In design, Photoshop and Quark
• Bachelors Degree plus 2 to 4 years experience in marketing communications or administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• A “doer”, able to “roll up sleeves” and “jump in”
