Senior Commercial Analyst
C&D TECHNOLOGIES, INC. is a publicly held, global, high-tech manufacturer of power conversion and storage systems. We currently have an opening for a Sr. Commercial Analyst in our corporate office in Blue Bell, PA.
The senior analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data to assist management in decision making aspects concerning customer pricing. Your role in providing analysis of sales, marketing and business data will support the company in its objectives of profitability and continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Margin analysis and review of commercial terms for large contracts, RFP’s and project quotes.
- Developing and running weekly and monthly margin reports
- Working closely with the sales organization in the quoting process to insure profitable sales objectives are met.
- Ensure conformance to pricing guidelines for orders placed. Approve or secure approval for any deviations to published pricing.
- Recalculate published pricing when market conditions change or contractual agreements are scheduled for re-pricing.
- Responsible for executing contract price changes in accordance with contract terms and having them updated in systems.
- Responsible for developing the sales forecast margins on a monthly basis.
- Ensure that system pricing is correct and current for all customers.
- Responsible for the reporting process for the sales incentive and commissions programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Accounting or Finance
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills in financial modeling, access, excel
- 5+ years work experience within an accounting/finance organization
- With 2+ years in financial analysis.
- Previous experience supporting a sales organization desired.
