Associate Engineer

C&D TECHNOLOGIES, INC. is a publicly held, global, high-tech manufacturer of power storage devices and power supplies. We currently have an opening for an associate engineer in our corporate office in Blue Bell, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare custom arrangement drawings for standby products and/or design and develop custom accessories per customer specs.
• Revise prints of battery components either from start or editing an existing file.
• Assist in designing drawings for the Installation Manual, sales quotes and presentations for various standby battery products.
• Check standby drawings for accuracy.
• Customize computer system to work more efficiently for various arrangement drawings.
• Interact with sales personnel and engineers to sustain engineering of battery parts.

Requirements:

• Associates degree in drafting with CAD. 
• Three to five years experience with auto CAD in a strong manufacturing arena. 
• Metal fabrication, injection molding, industrial batteries and extrusion experience a plus.
