C&D Technologies Announces 2500th msEndur Battery Shipped
BLUE BELL, Pa., Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- C&D Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: CHP), a leading North American producer and marketer of electrical power storage and conversion products used in telecommunications and industrial applications, today announced that one year after introduction of the msEndur™ 2V-20 year valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) battery, C&D has shipped its 2500th msEndur back-up battery system. The msEndur is manufactured at C&D's 240,000-square-foot Reynosa, Mexico facility, acquired in September 2003.
"The msEndur product is one of C&D's new flagship products. It is the first 2V VRLA battery to have the longer life performance characteristics of a 2V flooded battery," said Jeffrey A.
