C&D Technologies Appoints Vice President, Continuous Improvement

BLUE BELL, Pa., Sept 07, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- C&D Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: CHP), today announced that Pamela J. Reich has been appointed Vice President, Continuous Improvement. Ms. Reich joined C&D in 1976 at the Leola, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility and was promoted to her current position as Vice President, Environment, Health and Safety in 2000.
