C&D Technologies Announces RoHS Compliance

BLUE BELL, Pa., July 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- C&D Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: CHP), a leading producer and marketer of electrical power storage and conversion systems used in telecommunications, industrial and motive applications, today announced that as of June 30, 2006, all designated electrical and electronic equipment that C&D sells into the European Union are RoHS (European mandate on Removal of Hazardous Substances) compliant.
