C&D Technologies and Trojan Battery to Showcase How They are Powering the Future at Middle East Energy

UPDATE: On 18 April, organizers of Middle East Energy 2024 announced cancellation of the event due to extreme weather conditions. The event was scheduled to take place April 16 to 18 at the Dubai Trade Centre.

Battery Leaders to highlight broad portfolio of solutions that deliver reliable electric power in all environments and supported by worldwide service network.

C&D to be part of Middle East Energy Dubai, 16-18 April 2024

HORSHAM, PA—April 2, 2024. C&D Technologies and Trojan Battery will highlight their dual commitment to energy storage solutions that power the world safely and sustainably during Middle East Energy (MEE), April 16-18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. In stand H2.D30, the two battery leaders will showcase their technology leadership, global footprint to support customers and partners, and one of the broadest power portfolios in the battery market.

"At MEE, C&D Technologies and Trojan Battery Company will highlight how their commitment to innovation has led to continually advancing energy storage solutions. The result is one of the broadest electric power portfolios supported by an experienced worldwide network that provides stability and reliability to global energy professionals.

"We often act as a single source for a company’s battery needs, providing high value, strong return on investment (ROI), and sustainable solutions," said Laurie Oswald, Chief Commercial Officer, C&D Technologies and Trojan Battery Company.

Batteries to Meet Market Needs

Advanced technologies that improve cycle times, extend battery life and create greater lifetime value will be shown in stand H2.D30 during MEE. C&D and Trojan battery solutions that meet data center, telecom, golf cart, floor cleaning equipment, and material handling equipment power needs include:

  • C&D Pure Lead Max and Pure Lead Plus. Pure Lead Max and Pure Lead Plus are the longest-lasting VRLA batteries in the data center industry. They help global energy professionals reduce their system footprint by up to 28% and replacement costs by as much as 40%. Innovative VRLA batteries, Pure Lead Max and Pure Lead Plus reduce resistance and corrosion, ensure long life in the most demanding environments, and decrease the average total cost of ownership for UPS systems.

  • C&D Advanced Energy Storage (AES) Batteries. C&D will also display its AES batteries, which deliver 3,000 cycles at 50% DoD. The batteries meet the demands of applications with extreme temperature, shock, or vibration. Advanced Nano-Carbon technology is integrated into the C&D AES batteries, making them well suited for applications that require repetitive cycling, including renewable energy. They also meet backup power needs for unstable grids, as well as peak shaving and fast frequency response applications

  • Trojan AES AGM Batteries. Two new DIN size batteries, the TE35-AES and 5SHP-AES, will be among the Trojan AES AGM battery solutions at MEE. These rugged, premium VRLA batteries deliver consistent, unrivaled high output and up to three times the cycle life of standard AGM alternatives, especially in extreme deep cycle (up to 100% DoD), partial charging, or challenging environments.

  • Trojan Lithium-Ion Batteries. GC2 24V, 36V, and 48V lithium-ion batteries will be at MEE. These deep cycle lithium-ion batteries deliver high performance and are virtually maintenance-free. Trojan lithium-ion batteries are designed with advanced safety features and meet automotive durability and vibration testing standards.

  • Trojan Flooded Lead Acid Batteries. Rugged, durable, and fully recyclable, Trojan flooded deep cycle batteries are the longest-lasting batteries of their kind on the market.

Supporting Renewable Energy

As part of its sustainability commitment, C&D and Trojan support renewable energy applications. C&D designs products, such as its AES batteries, that provide high cycles to maintain renewable energy site operations under extreme conditions. High quality, deep cycle flooded lead acid, lithium-ion, and AES AGM battery solutions for solar applications are available from Trojan. All Trojan solutions are designed and tested to IEC standards, so global energy professionals can be confident that the batteries will withstand the rigorous conditions of renewable energy installations.

Global Network to Support All Middle East Energy Attendees

In addition to their portfolio, C&D and Trojan support MEE attendees through their vast global network. The battery leaders have fourteen manufacturing, sales, and support locations worldwide to meet individual market needs and ensure efficient responses to all customers.
